physical characteristics, as well as other things

We are building a real world database for everyday pets. You can join in the fun and share your pet’s information! As this database grows, we will be able to trace traits through family trees and provide you with information about genetic profiles of your pet and how they fit or compare to other animals in their breed classification.

We want to know about your pet! These values should be for adult pets. If you input values for young pets, please update when your pet is mature. See below for the characteristics we would like to record.

1. Weight 2. Height (at front shoulder) 3. Length (from base of neck to root of tail) 4. Chest Girth (all around) 5. Narrowest Neck (all around) 6. Lower Neck (around chest plate) 7. Paw Width (widest part) 8. Paw Length (ground contact) 9. Muzzle Length (from tip to bridge) 10. Muzzle Width/Girth (all around)

Coat

1. Color (s) 2. Color Pattern 3. Length of hair (when left untrimmed) 4. Curliness (tight, medium, wavy, or straight) 5. Paragraph text for additional description.

Energy Level

Scale of 1 to 5 1. Sleepy, non-energetic 2. Calm and casual 3. Somewhat active, moderate energy 4. Enjoys High Level of play/activity 5. Bounces off the walls

Eye Color

1. Color (both eyes) Brown, Amber (light golden honey), Blue, Hazel (mix of brown, grey, blue or more) Green (greyish green) Dichroid (distinct boundary of two different colors) 2. Colors of both eyes if different Left/Right or heterochromic.
